Patron Services

Patrons of all ages can apply for a library card (number). To receive a card, complete an application and bring a government issued photo ID or current official document with your name and address. A parent or guardian needs to be present for children 12 and younger to get a card.

Library Card (number) – provides access to the following:

 

• Library books, large print books and eBooks via the Libby APP

• Audiobooks and DVDs

• Databases through www.texshare.net that provide homework help, health or business information, academic journals, popular magazines, genealogy, or job and career development

• Library of Things which is a collection of common household, outdoor and miscellaneous items that can be checked out from the library

• Library of Seeds which is an expansive collection of seeds for patrons to take and use in their own home garden

• Gaming and virtual reality stations for online fun

• Several electronic entertainment devices

• A large collection of games for the entire family.

We also offer:                                                                                                                                                                           

• Dedicated space for online appointments with healthcare providers

• One on one technology or internet assistance by appointment or during published hours

• Computers with Adobe Creative Suite/Microsoft Office and internet access during library hours

• Wireless internet access outside after hours

• Document or photo scan to flash drive

• Free magazines and books that have been donated or are no longer in our library circulation

• Fax – $1 for the first page and $.50 for each additional page

• Copies – $.20 for B/W and $.50 for Color

• Lamination – $1 per page

• Notary Service – Free
